Hey all.

I'm actually a Cherokee owner, but have always liked Land Rovers. I LOVE my Cherokee. Its tough, simple, and basic (a case of the owner matching his vehicle, maybe), but I'm getting to the age where I'd like something a little more comfy for a DD/Weekend trail rig.

A neighbor of mine recently test drove a Rover at some sort of official test drive with simulated off road and on road situations, and he hasn't stopped talking about how impressed he was.

I'm a bit of an engineering geek though, and I'd like to really check out and research the suspension designs. Does anyone know of a site with detailed pics/drawings?

Thanks

if it as a new disco or RR it will be ifs and irs with lots of electronic wizardry that will drive you bonkers.

if its a rr classic defender or disco s1/s2 they are live axle coil sprung. all use radius arm + panhard front end and aframe with parrallel trailing arms rear...except for disco 2 which had slighty different radius arms and a watts link rear.

check out the pictures in the sticky at top of rover section
