I was wondering about the wall thicknesses, I was going to 1.75X.188wall, but it is about 6-7 bucks a foot. And the 1.75X.120 is about $3-4. Now the question i plan on cutting the frame off behind the cab, and building a tubed backhalf.

Would the .120 wall DOM be sufficent enough in strength?

It's a 69 chevy k10, single cab, going to have 1tons on 42-44s, going to used in hollister mainly, and the dunes.

It's really all gonna depend on the design as far as strength goes. I would say .120 wall is plenty strong. Is it hrew or dom or poop pipe?

1.75x.120 will be fine if supported correctly.
