getting ready to get the northwestfab shifter kit and need to know where I need to cut the tower off at. Also what should I use to cut it off with?

Sawzall or cutoff wheel?

I used a sawzall and cutoff wheel to chop mine off. I chopped it right above where the port is for the 4WD switch. You can get some slim hex set screws to plug those two holes so you don't have to trim your NWF bracket. The other option is using two bolts with some sealant and trim a little bit of the bracket so it clears the heads of the bolts. Either way it will work fine.
