Couldnt post this on the misc page so its here.
Whats the us standard for cb radio, here is 27mhz fm, ch 19 being 27.78125mhz, is the us system similar or incompatible.

yes our CB band is around 27.2 Mhz, with a range of 26.965 to 27.405, for channels 1 - 40, with 19 being 27.185

The US also uses AM instead of FM...(and SSB, of course).

So the band is the same, but the channel spacing isnt.
So I'm gonna need a new rig with the multi band setup to use in the states.
I wish they'd deristrict am and ssb here, bloody hams.
