Stopped by the Uber Wally world on Wadsworth and Colfax looking for .17 HMR

they had just stocked in a metric butt-load of .223 Federal Value Paks (100 rd) of FMJ/55-gr.

Probably 150-200 boxes on the shelf at $39 and change

Now the REAL KICKER.

First Federal Value-paks of .22 LR I've seen in 6+ months...except not 550 rd but now 375 round value paks for almost the same $13 price tag.

Now $11 and change for 375 rnds.

On the bright side at least it's trickling in.

The wallyworlds out west have been getting stock in again, I scored a case of federal (550 count) and 45 wwb recently midday.

They had prolly 30-40 of the 375 packs of .22lr, I bought 2 and 3 boxes of .17 HMR. I went back and forth with the .223 as I have quite a bit and it's still over priced (like the rest)

Local WalMart has PLENTY of Federal 9mm 115gr $8.97 and .40 180gr $12.47 FMJ target ammo available. The $15.47 550rd packs of Federal .22lr go quickly but there are usually a couple dirty golden bullet $14.97 550rd Remington packs available.

our walmart no longer has 550 packs for $13either. Its now 375 or 500 for $17:mad3:

Yea it's weird.

Two weeks ago it was 9mm and .40, now .223 and 22 LR. No 9 or 40 today though.

Kind of hit or miss, but at least some movement.

But at least in Denver, the hoarders are still hoarding.
