STK-5502

This is the GenRight Twisted Pitman Arm kit to correct the angle issues inherent in hi-steer set ups (not enough down travel on the heim). We create a double shear using a 5/8" Grade 8 bolt. This is a perfect compliment to all long travel suspensions and and is designed to be used with hi-steer type arms. This Heavy Duty kit will hold up to big tires and off-road abuse. Got a hydraulic ram? It will work with that too.

Our kit includes:

* Laser cut from 1/4" thick steel
* Design is puzzled together for easy assembly
* 5/8" size Grade 8 mounting hardware
* Requires sacrificing (cutting) your existing pitment arm

Why Heim rod ends? We prefer the heims over the standard or heavy duty "tapered style" tie rod ends because, over the years we have seen the taper on the tie rod end SPLIT too many steel knuckles! This is the exact same steering set up we have used on our Gen-Right rigs for years, and it works great!

Bought one of these for my 60 build/front stretch. Top notch quality and it solved my geometry issues. Worth every penny!

Sent Genrigt an note today on this. Question is how much farther can you move the front axle (60) forward with this arm? Can you explain how it does it? Do you need both the arm and the Hi steer arm mount?

Moved my front 60 2" inches forward and used a ballistic arm. Any more than 2" on a TJ, and it starts getting a little too tight if you are trying to stay low. A YJ may be easily able to go 3+".

GREAT PRODUCT!

Have you considered making these in two different lengths?

Your current version is 5.5" C-C, I would have bought one if it were 6.5" C-C.

The longer length is necessary (or at least better) for D60 conversions when larger steering angles occur.

Chris,

I'm going to run this past my Production Manager. I'm sure we could do something.

Ok, cool...

This is the thread detailing my issues and solution.

I THINK a longer arm would need to incorporate a bit of drop, at least for the XJ owners.

Just something to consider.
