Hi all
I need to be able to kill the power to a 3 phase pump 300 feet away.
I can not run wires b/c of black top so a need a wireless remote.
Does someone make a remote shut down to do this?
I am pretty shore I can use a contactor and a garage door remote but I rather use something pre made.

Chris,

What happens if the power doesn't shut down?

You can buy simple wireless controls for 120V. So you use that to control a three leg relay (to open all three phase).

There are commercial "emergency stop" units.... Expensive, but the idea was a maintained worker could shut down power from any place along a 300' conveyor.

thanks
Its not being used as a shut down. Its being used to turn the power off at nite. Wehave an old office in the back that the power comes from and it is being left on out of sight out of mind.

What about using a timeclock to shut it down after a certain time?
