Not long after I bought my Blazer the power steering pump started chattering, it finally died and I replaced it. It's been about two or three years but it is doing it again. I have the hydra boost brake booster....do you guys think that the pump that was on there, and this one I put on are too weak for this application?

Oh yeah it's on a 85 CUCV Blazer with the 6.2 diesel.

What did you ever come up with? I run a 94 small block Chev with stock steering pump and hydro assist ram, and I go through pumps. I've heard there's a hydro boost power steering pump avail. Maybe made for the 1 ton or bigger truck with the 350. Dunno...
