My intermediate steering shaft is fubared. I'm loosely throwing the idea around to build one out of square tubing. However, I'm kinda hung up on what to use for the steering joints yoke wise. Any information would be appreciated.

There are online suppliers that sell the ujoints you'd need but they are designed for the usual D-shaped bar used in steering, but that's available online as well. It seems to me it'd be easier to just order the right stuff over building one from square tubing.

theres gonna be a ton of slop in your square tube unless you machine it to fit. your best bet is to replace the whole thing with borgeson

I payed like $90 for one out of i think 4WD. That's cheap cash for a bolt in part the you put your live in.

I would say build one. I am not a master fabricator by any means and I found it to be easy and less expensive in the end. The expensive part was the u-joints, you should be able to get everything else from your local steel place.
