I have a toy hauler and like many others mine doesn't have a rear bumper to store the sewer hose. I obviously don't want it anywhere in the camper. Any suggestions or home brew ideas?

Why not get a PVC pipe a bit bigger and bolt that up below. You could even put a slight bend to have it open to the side like an exhaust tip and run length wise with the trailer.

I just use a hydro flush/back flush fitting to thoroughly clean the hose and keep it in a storage bin inside.

I don't have much room under the camper. Maybe I could do the pvc idea in front or behind the wheels where ground contact would be less likely. I'd also like to be able to stow all the sewer elbows and other small fittings in the same area. I guess I need to climb under and poke around.

PVC Pipe or one of these http://www.berrylandcampers.com/rv-parts/catalog/30-PVC-Pipe-p-5930.html mounted underneath, or through the side into an unused stroage space (like under sink or dinette or bed or whereever)

I flush mine and keep it in one of these (medium size) in the garage area of my toy hauler, can't smell a thing and it works perfectly.

Just get a peice of of PVC that is a little larger than hose like 4" pvc by however long your hose is collapsed 5' or 8'. Put a cap on one end and plug with female on other and store inside. You could mount the pipe virtualy anywhere you have free space.

I too rinse mine good and use a smaller plastic tote. Only mine fits in an area about 12"x18"

(guess my hose is not as big as Soundguy's. :( )

Here is how mine is installed under the trailer.

I carry 2 hoses because the place where I store my trailer has a make shift dump station but I can't get really close to it to dump my tanks. :D

I'll take the PVC route and paint it black. Thanks for the ideas.

I'd probably need 5 or 6" PVC

Try this idea: www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/22804651/gotomsg/22805485.cfm#22805485

I use this on my fiver and it works pretty well. The problem with using regular PVC is that 4 inch does not allow you to keep the fittings on it when you put it in. 6 inch is pretty big and a little overkill. I have never seen 5 inch PVC pipe. The method in the link allows a 5 inch PVC fencepost cover with a hinged door instead of the cap method which is a lot easier. I keep the fittings on mine and can also put in the other adapters and such that I carry.
