Easy...don't kill me...I've searched ya'lls cruiser site and did a search on the pirate search engine but...I have a question:

Found 93 FJ80 front & rear axle complete (no e-lockers)
Can the CV's be "longfielded".....I think I read somewhere "91-92 axles can but watch out for later models" I might be smoking crack though, The info is for a swap on my RR.....thanks

I emailed the longfield site and it bounced back the E-mail

So call him.

I believe that he can do the alteration to any Birf. I know he has done early cruiser and sammy birfs too.

Bobby is a great guy. the longfields are the best thing to hit the toyota market in a very long time.

Thanks, I gave him a call this morning...He said he could if I wanted but he didn't think there was a problem with them breaking anyways....(they are 32 spline).....

You won't need to worry about the 80 birfields - lots of guys running rat motors behind them and they're stout. As always with a Cruiser axle, put new axle seals in and repack the birfs while it's all easy to do. Note which direction the seal was wearing against the axle (12 oclock, 6 oclock, etc) and you can only put shims on the top to correct it. New knuckle bearings are also cheap to do now.
