was wondering if i can remove all the emissions crap from my 95 f350 has a 460. im only asking bc im putting a new motor in and have the shit broke. dont feel like wasting money on it. thanks brian.

Come on man, more info. Is the new engine going to be injected? Run a carburetor? If you go the carb route, all you need is some power to the coil, give it some gas, and run the thing.

if you go carbed, is the tranny comp controlled 95?

are you going to have to smog it?

EFI heads/intake are a different bolt pattern than the carb. I *think* you can bolt carb'd heads on to the block with no modification though.

its remanufacted short block only ran to test and its 60 over. the trans is a manual 5 speed im keeping the efi. and i dont have to smog it.

there are steel lines that connect the exhaust manifolds then they split and go to a pump? which is drivin off the motor then there is 2 hoses that come off the "pump" each go to a container. i can take pictures tomarrow if that would help.

im pretty sure one of the lines off the manifold goes to a cat.

it doesnt go off the manifold to a cat theres line off the cat but i cant think where it goes with out looking at it.

it's air injection. it should go to: both heads, in front of the cat, it's intake filter housing and the vent silencer. the pump pulls less than 3 hp. the system is not needed for a modern cat. the crap on the inner fender can be greatly downsized.

I just Pulled off the air pump and hoses and bullshit on my 95 F350 460.It was siezed so i didnt need it.i just plugged the hoses off the heads and it runs no different.The TAB /TAD solenoids or whatever the fuck they are ,are still there.
