2x4 3/16's thick. Doubles as rock sliders.

Yes... I have search but most of the threads are really old. Right now I am just trying to get some idea's, so if I am out and about I can grab what ever it is that I need.

Most scouts are really oldYeah and so are the posts if you search for some of the simpler stuff like this. Mostly what you find is red Xs. Hard to flame a guy for that...

Scouts had rocker panels????



I know mine didnt. Made the boatside a lot easier!

I cut my rusted rockers in probably 3" ... flush with the main support. Had a piece of 2"x3"x0.25" rec tube so I split it length ways making it basically 3"x1" channel which hugged the rockers nicely. cage is tied to the 1/4" rocker which is tied to the frame. Gives a nice square edge to the rocker that I can put the high lift under. Not as extreme as a boat side but a fair amount of metal was deleted.
