How do I verify that my front axle is bent?

this was a waggy ( wait it does have 1/2" thick tubes Thats f-150? crap never thought I would forget this stuff) front 44 that was shortened by a reputable builder. Factory inner "c" I then went and put crane outers, ARB, superior inner and outer axles, CTM's.

After MOAB I noticed I needed new balljoints. (not sure if they were newer or still original) anywho I replaced ALL the balljoints. Ok no more wobble on the front tires. but the drivers side tire is definatly pointing out at the top. passenger is not that much better.

offset ball joints? bent inner "C"?

Do I take it to an alignment shop to get some numbers to show where it's out?

regretting not building the 60...... im running 37" mtr's

I've got a 79 f150 HP D44 (cut to stock width)under my YJ. Same situation as you, drivers leans out at about 3 degrees, pass out at about 1.5 degrees.
I went to a couple alignment shops and they wouldn't touch it. But they recommended a solution.

Google search it you can find different degree inserts. Mostly for Scouts and Broncos.
If yours had a offset insert and it turned when the balljoints were removed/installed that could give you your lean. Also the insert preloads the balljoints and changes the relationship between the upper and lower. (Closer or further apart.) If its not correct it will accelerate the balljoint wear.
I haven't tried to correct mine yet, I'm still looking into it, let us know what you find. GL

The c's probably didnt get cambered right before they got welded or they shifted during welding.
