I have a o1 tj, Only 3 fluids I have found that will do the job, Mopar PN# o4874464 - pennzoil synchromesh - royal purple synchromax your year may not be runnig a 3550 trans. If you call any jeep dealer with your vin # handy they will let you know what trans , axle,tcase, just about anything you to know about tour jeep

Myself I run the Mopar tranny fluid and I have an 02 TJ w/NV3550.

I also only run the dealer Mopar oil. AX15 is the trans 97 TJ.
