I want to weigh my options on what backspacing to choose for my wheels. The hubs I have are of course the Chevy dually hubs, but were machined down to convert to single wheel type. The distance for mine from wheel mounting space to hub end where the lockout go is exactly 5inches. What do the Chevy D60 SRW hubs measure out to? Im wondering if my WMS is further inward or outward which could be a lucky break if I dont need such drastic backspacing of 2.5inches, make sense??

Use a grinder and you can have what ever backspacing you like (with in reason).....I just did my chevy 60 to fit 4.5" BS wheels...No problem....just lots of black snot to deal with....:D

If I remember right- (it's early) 4 & 5/8" end of wheel hub to wms
Internal locking hub style.

Anybody else have measured before???
