I needed something to set the trusses on my new Garage with. I decided to put my Jeep to work. This is what I came up with. It worked great. All my friends said it wouldn't work. Here's a link to some pictures. Enjoy

Until now I thought I was the only one that used my rig for anything other than wheeling. I usually get more damage from working than wheeling!! If I can't lift it- I usually winch it up and drive.

While it's not OSHA ISO9000 certified  it IS a great example of American ingenuity!

Knowing Patrick, the garage WILL be kick-ass.

As for the Hooter's girls... It just goes to prove what you can do with some "Big Dick's" on 44's :flipoff2: :p ;)

any close-ups of how the "boom" is attached to the front of the jeep?

i used to work for a guy that ran a drag-line digging ponds. after watching him from my dozer, i wanted a boom on the front of the jeep to move stuff.

now i know i'm not the only one.

I can see it now, "BIG BAD YJ'S CRANE SERVICE", you can do that on the side to add $$$$ to the the never-ending Jeep fund

Back before i had my own shop i used the Warn10000m to pull the 4cly out and put the V8 in that very same vehicle.
It was not fun but it got the job done.
