Red lock-tite is for real. Might wanna try blue first.
Are they nylocks(use once) or the steel jamnuts.

if threadlocker doesnt work alone then take the nut off and use a dremel tool to cut into the top of the nut (about 3/16ths deep) on both sides. put the nut back on with threadlocker, torque it properly, then drill a hole through the threads and through the notch and put in a cotter pin. or if you have enough thread above the nut you can skip notching the nut and just throw a cotter pin in

they are steel nuts. and left and right hand on the same bar. i tighten them an much as i can but the just have a way of slowly working their way loose. im thinking that red lock-tite might be the way to go

thread locker is not the right solution imo. the problem is the nuts aren't getting tight enough. use a good quality large adjustable wrench and a large pipe wrench to torque it down. i have had jamb nuts come loose, but never used locktite. i fixed it by tightening them even tighter than before.

I had the same problem. Tryed tread lock and everything mentioned here. What we do is tack weld the nut once tight. I also like the idea of a cotter pin. Good luck....

should have used a thread adapter as such,
http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/thumbnail.asp?file=assets/images/tubeadapter/78hexta.jpg&maxx=300&maxy=0 helps when tightening the jam nuts. But otherwise, maybe your threads are sloppy, allowing movement. Id also look everything over for cracks and such. Then like said above, tighten the shiat outta it.
