I like the rub rail,:smokin: I need to add something as I caved in my driver side 2 weeks ago. I might put it up a bit higher to match the body line. I assume it pushes on the roll cage. Did you just make some flat plates on each side of the body panel?
Binder 09-18-2009, 08:58 AM I've always liked this picture too for some reason. Ben W took it at that same comp in 2007.

Thanks guys! Alot of hard work, blood and sweat went into this Scout over the years since 1993 when I picked her up stock from a farmers pasture in Oklahoma. I am currently working on some big things right now for 2010 with Superlift. I cant spill the beans yet, but I will be going to SEMA show in November then to the Baja 1000 two weeks later! Expect a possible Press Release in the next two months! Oh yeah, and the Scout is going to get a new suspension, tires and links over the winter. Just trying to find the right Bank to rob to pay for all this!:smokin:

Each panel is held on with 4 allen head bolts with a counter sunk poly washer. Makes them easy to take off and repair. :grinpimp:
71durabakscout 01-21-2012, 07:32 PM That Scout stayed like that until it was retired. Now I wheel this one.

Are you ever going to bring back the green scout? I remember seeing you had a set of 42" iroks and a ruff stuff housing.

Still have the 42"s and the ruff stuff housing has been narrowed and 40 spline ff axles have been made. And I have a pile of DOM sitting at the fab shop waiting to be bent into a chassis. I kinda stopped when I got a wild hair to build a KOH rig with the parts. I think I may be over that now. :D. Maybe I can proceed as planned.

Thanks, but I can't take credit. Saw it on a rig from KS at the RMIHR a few years back. Made sense when I had full inner fenders still. It made a 25-30deg temp drop underhood.
