Anyone have a 79 and newer FJ40 with OEM A/C they are wanting to get rid of? Looking for mainly the underdash stuff and controller box, but other stuff would be helpful too. Thinking about trying to install it in my FJ45... I know, I know... the likelyhood of this is SLIM but figured I'd try to look now, before the resto starts...

I'd be interested in any parts, or whole setups, Particularly the heater duct...

Thanks

You may wanna check this out. Its not factory, but it seems to be the cleanest AC setup for a Land Cruiser.

The buy it now is 725 which doesn't seem too bad.

If this helps for just price info, I sold my non-working stock FJ-40 A/C set up, underdash, switch box, compressor, right 2F engine mount (Stock AC mounting point) all hoses for $550. I put that as the buy it now on the e-bay auction and it sold in less than two hours. (ok should have put the buy it now higer!) I later sold the heater duct and stock A/C condenser wire pig tail (12” of wire) to the same guy for $100 plus a perfect condition 1980 non A/C duct (hay I need that for my rig). So in the end I got $650 for everything. The rest of the stock parts for A/C needed are the following:

2F duel pulley harmonic balancer
A/C rig battery mount (clears compressor)
Radiator and bracket (Toyota put a 2” wider radiator in the AC rigs) No way am I selling mine off unless I got a custom after market radiator!
Inner grill in front of radiator also it has two “wings” to direct air into the radiator.

If you need the stock A/C cruiser battery mount, I have a one you can have to the price of a case of beer. I have no need for it, heck it would most likely work for someone running a York.
