Is the Chevy 10 bolt worth $50 to upgrade over my Isuzu 10 bolt?

I'm pretty sure the Isuzu is a dana 44. the ten-bolt is a g.m. only axle
to the best of my recollection. stay with the '44.

It's an Isuzu 10-bolt, not a GM 10-bolt, that I have. It is also not a Dana 44.

what is the axle in? Isuzu only used 10 bolts in the IFS unless it was a rear prior to 87 of a trooper or a pup/luv.

If it is truley an Isuzu 10 bolt rear, the strength will be slightly better in the GM, and it will be a lot easier to get replacement parts or to upgrade the axle parts later.

No, vx knows what I'm talking about. Its the Isuzu 10-bolt in the rear of an '80 Luv (it has the 8-bolt IFS up front). Thanks for the info vx.
