Is there any way 35's will fit on the front of my 81 F-150 extended cab pickup w/o cutting? The only wheeling I really ever do is through snow or mud so the flexing isn't really a concern. Currently I have 33's and they rub on the radius arm. Needless to say my turning radius (155" wb) is that of a locomotive. I'm sure 35's would bump the mud flap area and increase my turning radius.
The front end hangs lower than the rear by 2" or so, so I'm planning on getting the front up a bit. I've read that suspension lifts mess up the geometry on these beasts so my other choice would be a body lift I guess. I want to keep it looking stock which is why I'm not interested in cutting although many have cut and look fine.
Love 35's but not sure if it's worth the headaches. I assume that the stock drive train will handle 35's as long as I'm not too stupid. Braking is another issue to be addressed - 33's are bad enough to stop (rear disc are in the future). I appreaciate some ideas.
