I replaced my old stock lights with Sylvan blue star lights or something like that. They were supposed to be blue-ish white. Anyway as soon as I got them in, I turned the lights on and they weren't very bright. I clicked to high beams and they didnt work. High beams have not worked since I put the bulbs in but no huge deal there. I turned my lights on this morning made it down my driveway and they lowbeams flickered bright white for a few seconds and then cut off. Havent worked since this morning. Never seen them actually be white. My thinking is that maybe I dont have enough juice in the system to get them to be white? Any ideas? Bad bulb?

It sounds like a switch problem. The high beam switch or the head light switch would be the first things I'd check.

Before I changed the bulbs my high beams worked but only on one side because the bulb went out. When I changed it it hasnt worked since

check your grounds closely, maybe they get screwed up when you swapped the bulbs, ground issues seem to be the root of all electrical problems

Yeah tell me about it. Fought with that all day today on my CB to go huntin. I hooked the ground on the bulb and the power on the back of the bulb straight to the battery and nothing happened. Is this correct and it needs something else to make it work right or are my bulbs blown even though they arent even a month old?

sounds like the bulbs bad, I tried some of those blue bulbs in a truck one time and they didn't seem to last

They looked pretty the two times I have seen them flicker on. Soon as I plugged them up the first time and flicked the lights on the high beams flickered and didnt work since. Think it would be easier to just go back to regular yellow bulbs? I checked the plug at the light and I have power

Pull out the bulbs and look at it, usually you can see if the filament is broken. Put your good old bulb back in and see what happens, if it works then you know the new bulb is bad. Make sure all of the contacts are clean and use a light amount of di-electric grease on the base of the bulb. I have read many comments on the Sylvania silver star bulbs and most people say that they do not last nearly as long as stock bulbs.
