hi all
just got this as a gift as i have being crying about my crappy welder and the misses got me this to shut me up

its a pro mig 180c
in australia is all 240v so thats what this is
so whats everyone think - good for most things on the rig?
and r these popular in the USA?

i've got a pro mig 175 that i bought about 2 years ago,i think yours is the upgrade to the 175,i've been really happy with mine.i have a 110 machine,and the 220v.next will be the miller bobcat for my truck.

That's a real good welder for 4x4 work. You did well mate. Only thing is that the Aussie power standard is 230 now. Not 240. fair dinkum!! :flipoff2:

your right it is 230
ill have to post up something i have burnt but i cant use it till i get the 15amp

Should be able to handle everything except maybe welding up some knuckles on an axle or making a housing... So 99% :)
