4r70w and twin stick tcase [Archive]

Is there any OEM tcase that will fit behind a 4r70w tranmission that could be modified to twin stick? I am looking for a cheap solution. I have a D300 but the adapter is about 600 at AA.
Does a NP205 fit?

It should have the standard round 6 bolt pattern and 31 spline output, so it will work with most married cases from the 70's- 90's. I mocked one up to a 205. Should work. The tailhousing needs to be notched to clear the 205 shifter. The 205 is narrower than the later Borg Warner cases, so the front driveshaft may get close to the trans pan. Might need a small diameter shaft.
