need to find out what to do about the gap there will be in the front below the grille to the top of the stock bumper on the 82 k10.

how do you fill this in?
does any place make a custom panel piece for this for these 81-87(91) trucks?

any pics of any that have been lifted and have this problem solved ?

thanks

haha yeah well i cant fabricate though

not within my area of talent

besides, he wants new stock style bumpers on it anyways

and he doesnt want anything cheesy

he is spending serious money on this truck

i was thinking maybe buy an aftermarket front roll pan for it and modify that ?

would that work ?

getting ready to lift the body, just got done taking body mount bolts out a bit ago

i think o reilly auto parts here is able to get the body lift kit maybe

find out tomorrow on that

thanks

Don't do a rollpan. If he is gonna do it right than get the relocation brackets and be done with it

Ditch the body lift

x2. If it's big enough that there's a visible gap...it's too much body lift:smokin:

I have a 3in body lift.....i changed my front bumper to an older warn then made 3/8 plate brackets with a skid plate to raise it up 2 1/2 inches. The rear bumper i used a roll pan although i have a newer bed.. heres 2 pics one when it was black primer and the other of now ....its green...

I would relocate the bumpers upward like stated above. If you put a filler piece in there it will look weird and too tall under the grill.

there isnt a gap uless you have removed the lower panel completely.

the 3"bl put the panel just a hair over the top of the bumper in its stock posision.

holy crap... body lifts... whats the deal here? its bad enough people cant get under a truck with a tape measure, but now they want us to help them decorate the trucks they fuck up with a body lift?

take your condom decorating ass back to the mall. The 15 year olds wont care if you can see through the gap between body and frame. to them its just a monster truck.

we know what it is.
