I don't know what it is called but the bracket that keeps the front drivers side door on my 01 DII from opening too far is loose and makes a helluva popping noise whilst opening and closing. I removed the kick panel for access to tighten the bracket but there is no access. Is it sopposed to be welded on or is there another way to access it?

I posted this over on Justin's site and tried to post it on Dweb :mad3:but I need some help so I thought I'd try here as well. It surely isn't hardcore but it is tech sorta.:D
