More of a maintenance question really but it is on a 4x4 blazer. How do i change the glow plugs? Is it like changing the sparkplugs on a gas engine and are they in the same local?

Same local, but generally different methods.
Honestly, I'm not sure how the plugs are done on a 6.2l.

Try the towrig section.

hell i think it is easier to change the glow plugs on a 6.2 just pull the wire, and ohm them out, the ones that read open are junk. replace it and go to the next one. hell anyone can do it. mike

it is easy and no they are not in the same location as spark plug, each one is located on top of the head up by the injectors.
look up by the injectors and you should see a wire going to s spade terminal that sticks into the head.

Just doing an ohm check wont find a week one. Remove them and with some oil on your fingers hold one and power it and the oil should sizzle immediately, if not replace.

I don't want to get the shit shocked out of me. For this idiot could someone post a pic of a glow plug and wher it is located. I was just going to replace all eight.

if you replace them get the ac-60g glow plugs. Look at the diesel page for more info. It isn't that hard to change the glow plugs. Some you may have to clamp visegrips on to get out if swelled.
