Just picked up my first Samurai 2 days ago. Traded my '92 YJ for it, so far I'm pretty happy with it. The YJ was stock, and I didn't have the funds to complete it in the timeframe I wanted and a possible trade came up on Craigslist for the Zuk.

It's an '86
stock motor
Thorley header with 2.25" exhaust
YJ springs
stock axles/gears, spool in rear, lockrite in front.
33" TSLs
6.5:1 t-case

Don't have too much for plans with it as of now, just play around and hope not to break it. Maybe Toy axles or d44 front and a For 8.8 rear(already have one sitting around). But nothing set in stone.

Enough babble, pics

you'll have fun with the zuk. Just be careful with those 33's and the lockright up front.

You never know when you might need that spare steering box. I actually sheered some teeth off of mine one time.
