BadAZYj 09-18-2002, 06:47 PM DANGIT!! I have tried to fix the link three times to no avail. If any of you really want to, you can put this in as the part number and that is what I am looking at

SUM-G2110
Thanks.
TPIJeep 09-18-2002, 06:51 PM You are going to get mixed answers on those seats, they are comfy for the little guys but if your a big guy like me you will hate them. Here is a pic of the seat you are trying to post..

I run Beard Ultra Sports and they are nice an comfy for a fat A$$...

M.Martian 09-18-2002, 07:00 PM I run those seats and they are fine for me. But I'm also 6 foot and 175 pounds.
I found that the cover didn't offer quite enough padding so I added a 1" thick foam pad underneath the cover.
BadAZYj 09-18-2002, 07:01 PM Are those Vinyl covered? How much did you pay for em?
morpheus 09-18-2002, 07:37 PM you'll get alot of mixed opinions on this topic, it's been thoroughly discussed several times in the past if you do a search for it. general consensus was exactly what TPIjeep said. others love that kind of seat but recommend the RCI brand or perhaps another I believe as something is a bit different about them. good luck...

They are vinyl, you can get them in all colors, I got them at www.redart.com and they were 259 each... took 5 weeks to get them custom made.... They are the closest to stock CJ seats I found with cutouts for a 5 pt harness...
HTH
Dan Dibble 09-18-2002, 09:32 PM I am 5' 11'' and 210 lbs and those seats are comfy to sit in as long as you are not moving. They hurt, as you bounce around in them.

71RCKCRZR RYAN 09-18-2002, 09:45 PM I HAVE THOSE SEATS AND THEY ARE COMFY.....I ADDED A LITTLE PADDING ON THE ASS SIDE. THEY ARE COOL CAUSE YOU CAN PULL THE COVER AND WASH IT AND THEN HOSE DOWN THE SEATS IF NEEDED.
mjs408 09-18-2002, 11:00 PM ever think about corbeau baja ss or baja ultra ss, both good seat, and they are about 170 a pop, if you wanna spend more cash the TR1 by corbeau is awesome
High5 09-19-2002, 01:35 AM i run the rci buckets and i like them alot. they are great for an open toped off-road rig. i'm 5'10" 180
a guy told me before i got mine that when you mount them to make sure you tilt them back a bit or they will be uncomfortable. i followed his advice and like i said i like them.
i will say that my jeep is not a daily driver. it is primarily just a trail rig.
misfitcj 09-19-2002, 02:39 AM try www.racing-seats.com they have seats justlike mastercraft but better construction.

So why are PRP seats better than Mastercraft? There are no details on their web site to compare to Mastercraft's construction.
I've got Mastercraft Rubicons and they are comfy and well built. 6' and 260.
CJ Lagos 09-19-2002, 06:11 AM I've got the Mastercraft Rubicon's and like them a lot. My only problem with them is when they get wet, they get wet.

GETMRUTN 09-19-2002, 06:28 AM I have Corbeau Forza's with 4 point harness in the front of my 83 but I am 5' 11" 190 and they fit like a glove. I am running the summit seats on the back of my flat bed for the kids and they are fine for them. Withe the Forza seats when you are flopped you can bet your ass that you will stay in the seat!!
Jonathan M 09-19-2002, 07:34 AM I have th emastercraft rubicon's as well...I'm thinking of geting some kind of seat cover made up for them to keep the water and grime off them.....They are super seats adn are really sweet. Expensive though...expecially when you live in Canada...
morpheus 09-19-2002, 08:24 AM anybody ever use the JAZ seats ?

woody 09-19-2002, 08:34 AM I've sat in the plastic-type seats....each time I was unable to walk for days afterwards - they hit my back wrong, big time.
My Corbeau BajaSS seats are very comfy and affordable....$160 or so each.
Rudezuk 09-19-2002, 08:57 AM Ive been running the corbeau clubman seats for about 5 years now.....they are awesome! And very comfortable!
CheapXJ 09-19-2002, 01:30 PM some more info on the "fat ass compliant" seats?
I have those seats and love them
I'm 5'10" 190lbs

I think that's what mine are (bought 'em used). Not bad. In the Jeep, I never used the cover & drilled some holes in them so the water would drain. In the Toy I have the cover on & they're fine for me, but the wifey needed extra padding. I have to take the padding out or my head hits the roof with a helmet on. I can't imagine a tall person in my Toy. I'm 5' 8" & the seat is all the way against the back glass
