anyone know the best place to get'em? Or know how to make a simple circuit board controller from radio shack so the controller doesn't get broken when the feeders get knocked over?

I use the timers that came with my Lehman feeders. They have a retail store in Robstown, TX on Hwy 77. The local hardware store also has some that look similar and work just as well. When it comes to digital timers I have come to prefer small sealed units. They seem to hold up alot better.

we run 11 spin casts and they work like a champ. we have used sevral others and these by far are the best we have seen. i would say at least 1/2 of our club use these. they are more exspensive than most but they are quality...

we buy leg brackets, stamped lids and the funnels and make the feeders out of 55 gal barrels.

thanks guys, we had some set up on our property, but the cows knocked them over and both of them had broken lcd screens and would not turn on afterwards. I'll look them up.

I have had cows knock over and destroy two of my 250 lb Lehmans. Naturaly this pissed me off. My solution was to drive T-posts into the ground next to the legs of the feeder and secure the legs to the posts with two hose clamps per leg. I havent had a single feeder knocked over since then so I'd recomend giving that try.
