Pit Bull Tire Co. introduces our newest tire the Growler XOR - ATV/UTV Extreme Off-Road Radial (XOR TM)

Sizes available this week:
25.5x8R12
25.5x10R12
25.5x8R14
25.5x10R14

You can see more pics on our website www.pitbulltires.com

The features as we have listed them on our website are:

*5 Circumferential groove channels – if you’re going in the muck…you don’t want it to stick to the tires!!!

*Aesthetically Directional yet Functionally Non-Directional - Looks can be deceiving. There are biting edges for forward/reverse and lateral traction all over the tire. At the same time, the overall impression is that of a directional tire and the can act like a dedicated directional and throw some serious muck!!!

*Patented Tread Design - based on our CORR, XRRA, Tough Truck, TTC, WSORR, DHRA, NMRO proven & multiple motorsport Growler off-road LT tires. We're not new to this extreme tire dirt, sand, snow & mud thing...

*Multi-varied Patented tread blocks - create an alternating biting pattern for maximum traction, cleanout and stability

*Rounded edge tread blocks - to help reduce tire wear and noise.

*6 ply-rating - to maximize strength and minimize weight.

*Tear It Up® rubber compound - similar rubber as we use on some of our extreme LT tires that have proven themselves time and again on some of the most powerful rigs and extreme conditions on Earth!!!

*Combine our rubber compound with our innovative construction technology and you have one incredibly TOUGH TIRE that also allows excellent flex for a great ride and longer lasting wear characteristics.

*Over-the-shoulder lugs designed using our Fang® Technology that wrap down the sidewall and add extra strength & traction to the shoulder & sidewall areas. Our Pit Bull Extreme Team™ designs with a purpose, and one benefit of our Staggered Over-the-Shoulder lugs is to help reduce excessive drag. Smart, huh?

*Integrated Sidewall Protectors – sidewall bands of rubber that can take the brunt of many impacts to help protect the sidewall and rims.

*Rim guards

*Serious Siping - increases biting edges and traction. Our design helps prevent foreign material buildup on the tire lug surface...where you don't want to create a slick.

*Stone kickers - help wiggle out foreign material buildup.

*High Void Treads - for easy cleanout and increased traction.

*Reinforced Tread Blocks – add strength

*Cool sidewall designs - Chain links, Dog’s Head logo and lightning bolts adorn the sidewall. We like it…adds some character.

*Our tires kick ass period. We can go on and on pointing out all the minutia details of why our tires are great...blah blah blah. Seriously...just find someone using our tires and see for yourself. An ad is an ad and all companies try to tell you how great their tires are...blah blah blah...the proof is in the pudding. Words are just words...

*U.S. & Int’l Patented tread designs - We have something that no one else has…you can see for yourself in the pictures.

When will the 27" tires be out?

ThePitBull

27.5 Growler Uber XORs will be out December. Everything always takes longer than we expect. But, just like the 25.5s...they will be big. One of the testers said that our 25.5 Growler XORs measured out at the same OD as a 27" Zilla on a 12x7 rim. I have not substantiated this claim, but trust the tester. The point is that our ATV/UTV radials run large. Measure the OD of what you have now. Our 26.5 Rocker Uber XORs will be out the third week in November. So maybe that would work better for you.

I second that, they look like they would rip on a clay track or muddy hill climb. A set would be tits on my 450.

We are currently offering two ATV/UTV radial tire designs, the Rocker and the Growler.

"XOR" means "extreme off-road radial"

"Uber" means "super" (in German) = an 8ply-rated tire with ExD (Extra Deep) Rim Guard Technology.

The Growler is being offered as a Growler XOR in the 25.5" OD sizes and a Growler Uber XOR in the 26.5" and 27.5" sizes. The 25.5" OD Growler XORs are 6ply-rated with standard rim guards, the 26.5" & 27.5" are Uber = 8ply-rated with ExD rim guard technology. 1" Tread Depth on the Fronts...1 1/8th Tread Depth on the Rears.

The Rocker is being offered as a Rocker Uber XOR in all three ODs - 25.5", 26.5" and 27.5" = 8ply-rated with ExD rim guard technology. 1 1/8th Tread Depth on the Fronts & Rears.

We've heard all sorts of rumors about pricing. Each dealer determines their own prices. It seems that the numbers floating around are MSRP prices. Yes, our prices are at the premium level. Yes, we believe they are worth the money in terms of performance, durability and longevity. If you compare them to similar radial tires, our prices are right there.

We're not blind and we know the economy stinks in spite of what the government tells us...and we know that hard-working Americans are having a hard time making ends meet. All of our tires are MADE IN THE USA by hard-working Americans. The rubber we use is similar rubber as we use on some of our OFF-ROAD LT tires and anyone can Google our name and read how much people love our stoic-rugged rubber and how much wear off-roaders are getting out of our tires.

Our radial tires cost more because (1) they use our proven stoic-rugged rubber; (2) they run true to size if not bigger in most cases; and (3) they are made in the USA.

We think we have a premier product that will prove itself over time. It costs more to make a premium American-made product. We run personal ATVs and UTVs and we want the best tire with the best wear characteristics and minimal hassles...so we made our products to enhance our own off-road experience and minimize downtime.

The proof is in the pudding...words are just words...so don't believe us...seriously, don't! We are advertising and trying to sell our tires. Of course we think we have the most beautiful baby of them all. Wait until someone you know runs them and tells you how much they like them...then buy them. There are leaders and there are followers....we prefer to Lead the Pack.

Any idea on the weight limit for these?

Rocker Uber XOR
26.5x9R14

I have something slightly bigger than an atv/utv that I'm thinking of getting a set for to run on the dunes. :D

27.5 lbs guesstimate.

Thanks, I actually meant what the weight limit is per tire. I know auto/truck tires have a weight limit per tire, not sure if the atv/utv tires do. These are 8ply correct? so they probably have a highter weight limit than other atv/utv tires maybe?

thanks!
