I have a 1951 Willys cj3a with a 350 chevy in it. I am building a new frame for it. I will be running 33-35 tires. Not sure on how much lift yet. What do you think about how long i should make the frame?? As in wheelbase. I am also not sure what axles i want to run right now. Mainly it will be for mud and just clumbing with some off camber stuff. Not really for rocks. Also what kinda axles do you think i should run with. RIght now the jeep is all stock with the stock axles and the stock 3speed and t-case.

Naw,227 is a little long.I would go with 200 even.Should have a perfect breakover on 33's!And keep the stock axles.They are the shit!:shaking:

I'd shoot for a 200" wheel base, and as far as axles since you only plan on 33's-35's I would look for a dana 30 front and do a dana 35 with the super 35 kit in the rear and 4-link the suspension.
