: I keep breaking clutch bolts... BAJA 5B... HELP

Whats up.. this thing is bullet proof except for this one bolt... I break one every 2-3 tanks

You can tap the hole for a M5 bolt or if you need a clutch support, look into a turtle racing clutch setup.

Mine does the same thing.
There are some slightly stronger bolts available for it,
but your only real solution is to drill and tap it for a larger dia. high grade bolt.

Amazing the beating the Bajas will take isnt it?!

If you don't feel like modifying it to take a bigger bolt, or dropping the cash for the Turtle clutch system, you might look at a higher grade bolt. DDM sells a 12.9 grade bolt. I installed one when I built my SS, and almost 2 gallons later, it is still in one piece.
