Hey Cruiserheads just wanted to let ya know that I've successfully completed the Army's program for Warrant Officers, so I'll be heading to Fort Hood Texas (Nolen I'm in route Bro) in about 2 weeks. I rented a U-Haul travel trailer to move the Cruiser and the problem I have is that the space I have to place the Cruiser into width wise is 75" I measured my Cruiser and I'm sitten at 78" The question I have is that if I air down the tires will my rig "squeeze" into a 75" space, or should I just inflate the tires to 50 psi , roll onto the trailer, then air down to accomodate the skinny space on the trailer.....Tankota is looking for a set of stock rims and tires for me, but I'm trying to figure out if I need to go that route....And no I didn't do no Damn search, cuz I know that this Question has not been addressed in this forum and Woody bless his heart dosn't have a writeup on this $hit in his website.
Thanks for your consideration,
-Rick

depending on how much backspacing/wheels you run, why not flip the rims around

Actually Nolen, it's WO1, or more commonly known as a "WOG" (For the non-military, pronounced whoaghe)...

Anyway, congrats, MISTER sixgun!

Trailer Squeezing 101....sounds like you'll have the first writeup on it!

IMO, hit the junkyard or your local tire shop and see what they have. I bet 4 shit rims and 4 shit tires to get on the trailer will run about $50. Beats trailer damage issues or even more importantly, damaging your real tires...

You could always just drive on with the rotors, can't you?!? :p

Yeah Rick! Way to go:cool: Qualifications, promotions, moves, anything to get more money to spend on the Cruiser, huh? Hope you and the family are well, and this means you will have more time to spend on the good 'ole POR:D As for the trailer issue, I'm with the others on airing up to shrink the tires. Cheers, Andy

Welcome to Texas!

If you get a chance, come on down to the next AUSTIN chapter meeting. Last Thursday of the month. www.lslc.org/austin

Henry already jumped on the stock disc rims I was giving away, but are you trying to get the cruiser INSIDE a transporter... or just on a trailer?

Hey thanks guys for the replies and ideas. TRD: I'm running 15x10 M/T Classic II's, discs up front and drums in the rear so flipping the rims is a bad idea. NOLEN: I think I'm going to go with the "squeeze on and air down" penis Cruiser pump idea :D
ESKIMO: I hope noone ever calls me a "whoaghe" I'll either say "bless you" or recomend them for an Article 15....Chief or Mr. Stultz will do fine as titles. WOODY: a Cruiser trailer penis pump article is in route :D ANDY: I think once I get to 1st CAV you guys will not be seeing much of me for a little while, but the fam is fine and the Cruiser is happy with the pay raise. ROUNDROCKTOM: thanks for the offer on the rims but I've got a line here locally if I choose to go that route, I will definately be seeing you on the trails though.
