I've done some searching around and haven't gotten a clear answer, so here is my question for all you to answer. I have a female friend who jus got a stock 04 TJ. She wants a lil' lift, 2 inches or so. I'm thinking those poly spacers. Another buddy has a kit for a 93-98 ZJ, 2" with all four spacers. Will this kit fit her wrangler? Also, does she need longer shocks? I'm guessing no... Please let me know what you all know.

get some Rubicon springs, they are cheap and easy to come by. Those poly spacers would work also. Does this woman wheel? If not, shocks will be fine, if so, they may limit travel up and down, but will be fine on road.

How much lift will rubi springs get her? She will be doing some wheeling, mostly just trail riding for now, some lighter technical stuff eventually. So if she goes spacer, and replaces shocks in time, she should be good? Just no poser flex pics for now? Those ZJ spacers will work alright for sure though?

rubi springs will give about 1" of lift if i recall correctly. Find a rubicon guy who did a lift and buy his springs and shocks.
Rubi springs get you O lift.
false.... rubi springs are the same length as stock TJ stuff, but the spring rate is stiffer therefore yielding a small amount of lift

I just recently helped a buddy install a set of Rubi springs in a 97 TJ. It got him about 1" of lift over stock.
I had 2" poly spacers on my TJ about 5 years ago, for about the first 3 months I drove around on the street (no wheeling) with stock shocks just fine. I would not do any offroading though with that setup. If you get proper shocks she would be good to go.
I can't comment on the ZJ spacers, if they are avalable you might as well give them a shot!
Good luck.

Im digging the Rubi idea, but right now the spacers are free and well the rubi springs arnt. Before I take a wrench to her new baby, those ZJ spaces WILL work on this 04 TJ??

Not true. Spacers and stock shocks wheel fine. Just do it and quit over analyzing it.

Totally missed your post, I've been posting between doin work...
Thanks for the info, for now I will prolly try the spacers from the ZJ and get some longer shocks in time.
