Unless they improved it immensely over last year I thought it was kind of :rainbow:

Although, I'm glad they are trying:D

Just my $.02

I'm going Fri-Sun. Might do the rock pile if they improved it from last year. Have no idea where I'll be hanging out, but unless I lost it I'll have my skull and crossbones flag on my tubed Cruiser. Say hi if you make it.

Rock pile
10-5 Fri
9-5 Sat
10-2 Sun

Thats all I know, can't find any details or requirements other than all participants in the Jambo are eligible. I wanna see some chrome on the pile!

SpaceGhost,

Thanks for the information. I am bringing my 1 ton K30 over and planned on trying the rock pile. I know it doesn't compare to any of the crawling competitions, but I do have chrome bumpers :flipoff2: :) Hope to see you guys there.

You might want to stay away from the rock pile. We both know you have a little problem with them:D :flipoff2: j/k

Wasn't this rock pile comp on ESPN last year? Does anyone know if they plan to televise it again this year.

If so Spaceghost you might want to clean-up a little :D

ESPN2 will be there. I know they're taping the Mud Racing, and would have to believe also the Tough Trucks & Monsters. May as well shoot the rocks since they're there :)

why can't this thing wait 1 more weekend so my junk will be done and I can come out and do some testing before heading out west to do some real wheelin'. Think I can have it done by Sat. night?

I don't see why you couldn't. Go fireup the bender.

Well, I have this little annoyance called school tonight and tomorrow I have to help rebuild a schwimmer front end. I may be able to get it all done on Sat. and come over on Sun. It's highly doubtful though as I haven't the foggiest idea as to how I'm going to tie the seats in yet. I guess it's time to enter into zen bending/welding:D

I had planned to go, but can't get Friday off and will spend Saturday building a new front driveshaft. Same as last year, my junk is broke. At least it isn't the rear diff this time. Maybe I should take it easier on this heep.... HA! :jeep:

What in the world happened. I thought you not to leave the sawzall plugged in when you are away! Can't wait to see what you end up with!

Sawzall's are for newbies, I use thin wheeled body grinders for my destruction :D I'm trying to figure out who's lame brain idea it was to make this thing a 4 seater:rolleyes: I'm bangin' my head against any hard surface trying to get the backs to fit and be solidly mounted at the same time. I'm just glad I've decided to pitch the spare tire finally. More progress pics tomorrow night.
