I recently found a 1970 LJ, 10 I believe, for sale. Just wanted to see what everyone thinks there worth. They are askin 2000.

The LJ10 is very rare. There are not so many left.
I would love to own one.
When it's in a reasonably good condition I would jump on it.

You can also ask the guys on LJ10.com.

Rough ones go for about $500, a nice one can bring over $6k. If it's in decent shape I would not hesitate paying $2k for it. I recently purchased an LJ80 for $2800. LJ10.com is a great source for info as mentioned.

Well it's bought. Very clean and ran when it was parked, granted that was a few years ago. Virtually no rust, paint isn't in terrible shape, interior has no real problems. Pretty cherry for a 1970. Thanks for the info and we'll get pics as soon as we can.

I just picked up an LJ20 for a buddy and got it running a couple of days ago. This one is pretty rusty and needs a little work, but it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. We're going to upgrade the master cylinder and brakes (all around) to Samurai brakes. I'm going to have to get some custom birfield work done at a machine shop to make the LJ axles work with the Sammi birfs, but when it's done he'll also have lockout hubs on the front. This thing should be a hoot.

Sounds like you got a good deal if it runs.
