1. Who has the cheapest beadlocks with a Rockwell bolt pattern?
2. Are there any sites that compare weights of 42's vs. 44's? Specifically, I'm looking at 42/15/15 TSL's vs. 44/18.5/15 TSL's vs. 44/19.5/15 Boggers.
Thanks.
Chris

I just got my 42" TSL's shipped a month ago and the total was 320 lbs for four tires so thats 80 lbs per tire....They are heavy and akward to move around....I've never weighed them myself so I don't know how accurate this is...
I have rockstomper beadlocks and 15x10 steel wheels...Haven't got the beadlocks on the rims yet but they are heavy......
I'd assumer by the time I get the tires on th ewheels and the beadlocks on they will be over a hundred lbs per tire..

I'm guessing the extra width of the 44's would add a LOT to the weight. I may just be sticking with 42's for my project, then. How wide do those 42's look up close? After getting my 38.5/14.5, they didn't seem as wide as I thought they would, so I mounted mine on 15x8's. You think the 42/15's would fit on 8" rims alright? (Limited street driving:)).
Also, to add one more question to the mix, are there any Rockwell wheel-disc conversions that will fit 15" rims? (not counting pinion discs)

44-18.5-15 TSL's on 15x12 Rockstomper beadlock wheels: approx 160-175lb each (not 100% sure, and my scale won't weigh that high--I can't lift 'em alone, and I weigh 160ish)

44-19.5-15 Boggers on 15x12 Rockstomper beadlock wheels: approx 190-200lb each. Same deal. Nearly obliterated my father-in-law when he tried to help lift one into the back of my truck. The guy is 75--he shouldn't be lifting Boggers... but he tried, despite multiple warnings not to.

Does anyone else have the actual weight of a 42" TSL????

I can't believe they are only 80 lbs each when a 37" MTR is like 65 lbs (I thought)

Just found another Bronco site that claims they're 98 lbs apiece. HTH.

Like I said the shipping company had the 42's down for 320 lbs for the 4 of them...Maybe the company that I got them from marked down less weight to save me $$$$$$$ in shipping....
Bigdude...I'll weight them tongiht to see what they reall are........
I'll also measure them up unmounted...

Go 4LO The shape of the tires look awesome....They have a good hieght to width ratio...I was gonna get 39.5x15.5 but they looked too short and fat the 42x15.5 looks just right. They are going on 15x10 steel wheels with rockstomper beadlocks....so the wheels will be a c-hair over 11 after the locks are welded on. One thing..... they are fawkin huge.....
Like I said above I'll measure them tonight unmounted and post back tomorrow..

I have a pic of a 42 TSL vs a 38.5 sx if someone wants me to e-mail it to them to post it for me....There is quite a difference...

Hey Guys..Got some numbers for ya last night.....Here goes...Remember these were done with a bathroom scale and me trying to hold onto a 42 and stay balanced....

15x10 AR wagon wheels - 35lbs each
15" Rockstomper Beadlocks - 12.5lbs for 2 (6.25lbs each)
42x15x15.5 TSL - 95lbs (This weight could be off by +/- 5lbs cause it was hard for me to balance with the tire and evenly distribute my weight...

Anyway this added up is 142.5 per tire and also there are the bolts/washer/nutcerts on the locks that have to weigh at least half a pound to one pound then we are at around 143lbs per tire mounted...This is not aired up so I don't know what difference that will make...Also a few golf balls will bump it up. :p

No kidding... I had 33's, went to 36's. They looked huge for all of 3 days. Next stop is 38.5's. But even those are starting to look like space saver spares!

Ok, I dug this up because I want to know how much they really weigh for shipping. Is 95lbs a tire right? Seams light to me....
