: soft brake pedal???

ive got a 1989 s-10 truggy with 1 ton running gear and my brake pedal is really soft but it does have decent brakes it just goes to the floor.i still have the stock master cylinder on it --is this the problem. just seeing if anyone has any suggestions

did you bleed the brakes really good?

yes the brakes have been bleed several times

well all the 1ton stuff is bigger. so your master is wrong. get a bigger one and everything should be fine. im sorta in the exact opposite situation your in, 1ton master cylinder with 3/4ton running gear so my pedal is hard as heck.

my k5 was like that and I got a 1-ton and dual diaphram mc and booster from same vintage truck. on my 97 s-10 truggy build i got a mc from a 88 1-ton but haven't get it running yet to see how well it works.

are you runnin rear discs? i would suggest a MC off a newer truck. i heard good results. of course it doesnt matter
