If you take another day you could remove the old 2WD engine crossmember and bolt in one from a 4wd for more clearance. Did you do a crossover steering setup with the 2WD steering box, or just swap on a 4WD box? The crossover steering kicks ass.

Well the crossmember hasnt gotten close to anything so i figured id just leave it until i had to swap engine, its way bigger so i figured it probly braced it better. I put a 4wd steering box on it,all this This is my river beater, I already had the lift tires crossmember and hangers off this!!http://publish.hometown.aol.com/ok17roper/images/blazerlsint.jpg

Hey, that looks pretty good. Can't beat the price either. Could you take a picture of the front spring mount, and a closer picture of the back one? If it isn't too hard, I would like to try the same thing.

FNG here.
I just got a 70s SWB 4X4 that got the front smacked. Need a new frame. If I don't I have all this crap laying around.
Anyone ever convert a 66 Chevy truck?
How hard is that?
By the way, :flipoff2: :D

I clicked on this thread because the subject line was very interesting. Then I noticed you were from Oklahoma and noticed you were tied to LWM. I have shopped there a lot secondary to the fact that I used to live in Moore. So are you Larry or one of the many sons. Well anyways, was a nice truck swap and the blazer is even nicer. When my truck is complete I will bring it by the shop. Have a good one... Later....
