: My buddys 67'
bigbadchev84 09-16-2009, 04:39 PM Well here it is, This is all the pics I got for now, but this thing is a top notch conversion, even underneath looks factory, He lengthened a longbox frame 20" It has a 6" lift and 36" iroks, Gonna be swapping in some 1 tons soon. The round deal on top was for hooking the winch up to the 1/4" steel diamond plate to lift it on the roof. Then he will mount his spare tire up there. Also if you look close, There is no dash pad, he filled it all and painted it.

frikenwoodro 09-16-2009, 05:25 PM Those trucks are rare like that.
HAPPYJOHN 09-16-2009, 05:30 PM That roof is very subtle, and major cool. will the down tubes on
the corners eventually tie into the cage?
Need a build thread, this will be a unique ride.
bigbadchev84 09-16-2009, 06:08 PM Those trucks are rare like that.
Factory never made these, All conversions.
He made this one out of 2 truck cabs.
I dont think he is planning on a cage for it, Just a NICE mountain/ light trail rig.
frikenwoodro 09-16-2009, 06:51 PM Oh I thought they made some from factory. I stand corrected
Fast68 09-16-2009, 11:07 PM nice work
67-72 an especially 67 68 are my top fav gm trucks of all time and ive owned bilions of them when they were still in existence years ago here. i miss them all... duallies, panel deliveries, and so on also...
true nothing except std cab from factory but there are many original conversion ones like this for tree service etc out there in OR and such
crewcabs were not factory available until sometime after the 72 model year which is the last year of these CST era trucks, 6 years

not to hi-jack
but on a side note and not to step on toes, have him look into www.67-72chevytruck.com site. i own a 71' longbed that i am putting on 52", and rocks, and getting close to being done. it is a great site dedicated for these years. Pitrate and 67-72 trucks have helped me out a ton threw out my build. there are a couple guys doing this mod if need be any questions......even tho it looks like he got's it down.
chevyforlife502 09-17-2009, 02:34 PM keep updated that looks sick

The 67-72 site is really starting to suck some horse cock. I get sick and tired of the unicorns and teddybear feeling the mods try to give there. There is some cool stuff there, but alot of whiney little bitches if you say something that gets there obama voting ass upset.
Rant off

that dumbass was me, and i didn't think you would get banned for what was said by neither of us, so sorry that your still a little butt sore.....but your still alive and i am happy for you.
Grendal- i will agree that rating over on 67-72 is more "G" "PG" rated, and pirate is deffiently and old school eddie murphy "R". But that is why i do both these sites for INFO, and to get a good laugh at the bashing pirate likes to do.....
randy92782 09-18-2009, 10:42 AM Very nice. Can't wait to see it done. I had never saw an extended cab or a crew cab til this past car show i went to.
It was a little too high tech for me but was very nicely done

randy92782 10-13-2009, 06:13 PM It took me a minute but i was tryin to figure out what exactly the picture of the calendar and light were for but i assume you're showing off the extended cab part of the truck from the inside?? It was kinda hard to look away from the girl though :D
frikenwoodro 10-13-2009, 08:03 PM I like the under side colors :shaking::flipoff2::D
roctaco 02-24-2010, 06:17 PM any updates on this build?
bigbadchev84 02-24-2010, 07:38 PM The last I seen It he put the tailgate on:shaking:
Ive been really busy with mine trying to get it into paint. Ill have to make some time to get up there in the next couple weeks
trkklr77 02-24-2010, 09:46 PM all that work and he is keeping the t221 tcase, wtf????
Snowbird13 02-24-2010, 09:59 PM all that work and he is keeping the t221 tcase, wtf????
I was wondering the same thing myself. If he wants to stay divorced, dodge 205's are fairly easy to find.
bigbadchev84 02-25-2010, 07:34 AM all that work and he is keeping the t221 tcase, wtf????
I was giving him shit over it too, The bad thing is, he parts out a ton of these trucks too. He has a couple 350/205s, 465/205 that i told him he should put in since the 221 is known to grenade if it gets low on oil. He built the exaust himself and dosent want to mess with it until he has to, so he said its staying put for now.
He also has a 400/205 that I have been trying to get off him for a while now, he says he wont let it go for under $700

I found one a while back and the guy wanted $400. Went this past week to buy it and he said he didn't want to get rid of it :shaking:I actually wanted the whole one ton drivetrain as well and said i'd give him $1600(he wanted $1400) but he wouldn't get rid of it :homer:
