im wanting to add 2 batteries to my 1994 wrangler crawler. it has a fuel injected 350 with gm 1 wire alternator. what im looking to do is run everything from 1 battery and have 1 battery just for the starter. im wanting to be able to run 1 battery completely dead if i want and have the other battery to start the vehicle. this way im never stranded with a dead battery from playing the radio to long or having the rock lights turned on w/o the vehicle running. is there a way to do this and still have the alternator charge both batteries at the same time thanks in advance.

yes.
You need a battery isolator or a switch to select which battery is being charged (or both).
