ok, I have a standard 6 point cage. the best pic I have is:

I plan to use some 1.75"x.120 for a spreader between the two feet at the bottom of teh cage, so I can run some smaller tube across to tie the seats in to. (one goal is to cut the floor out to make room for a clocked up atlas with 0" body lift, so the tube can't get in the way of that)

I was also going to run some 8" long or so diagnol supports to the frame the seats sit on.

what else should be added, it lacks diagnol supports, where should I add them?

First you might try the search feature and look at some of the 1000's of cage pics on this site:rolleyes:

I would say a cross bar at the dash on the front hoop and at least a diagonal bar behind your seats. (going from the drivers head to the passengers feet) Then you could gusset all the joints.

Make sure it's all tied to the frame

If I tie it in to the frame, how are you guys tying it in, in the back end where the cage bolts to the fenders. I haven't seen any pics of that.

Pix are around. I've seen them. Mostly a plate underneath bolted to the back of the cage then a tube from that plate down to the frame.

any problems with the body cracking the way you did it?

Looks like you just bolted straight through with no bushing.
