I got a 93 jeep wrangler. At times when I turn the key I get nothing, and other times it will start right up.
I changed the solenoid on the starter because it didn’t arc when I tried to jump it and again after I changed it I'm getting the same results. Any ideas would be great.
Mybe it's the ignition switch or the neutral saftey switch. Stick or auto?

when it won't start, bang on the starter a little and try. Or hold the key and let the jeep roll a little and dump the clutch and then push the clutch to the floor again. If these work your starter is going. Mine was a broken magnet and the little pieces would get in places and jam the amature. You can rebuild the starter, but if the magnets are brocken just get a new one. Sometimes the brushes and contacts will be bad or the bearings worn out and sticking. Also it can be full of mud and that mess it up.

Check your grounds. I had the same problem on my cj7 and the only thing wrong was the ground strap from my motor to the frame was disconnected. Been workin great ever since.

Is it cranking and not starting or just not cranking? The reason I ask this is because my wife's car did this at one time. I always cranked but, didn't start when it was hot or humid. It turned out to be a bad relay.

Sounds like the starter. I have been though about 1 a year since I got my jeep... For some reason they dont like mud and water? But Autozone has a lifetime warrenty. :D
