anyone heard of them?
are they a good lower?
they seem to be a good price, but does the price dictate the quality?
thinking of building an ar in the near future and was wondering if this would be a good starting point.

Never heard of them, but at least a dozen machine shops have started cranking out lowers in the past year.

You could always get a known lower from a PBB vendor for 1$ more ;)

You've heard of them Pete. It's LRB. Better known for their M1A receivers.

LRB makes super quality shit. But just like every other AR receiver out there, they are likely manufactured by someone else with LRB's rollmark on them.

Alternatively, LRB may just buy the forgings and do the machining in-house, but they most probably won't divulge that information either way.

Bottom line, it's an AR receiver. If it is a good deal and you like the rollmark, go for it. If not, there are plenty more out there. They are pretty much a commodity item these days.

Meh. I support Pete, but I don't like the CMMG rollmark either. Having a picture of an AR on my AR is like getting a tattoo of my ass on my ass.

I wish more manufacturers gave up on the stupid fucking rollmarks and just put the required information on the side and called it good. Fucking deers and cats and bears and unicorns.
