Last year I had to install another ignition out of an International truck in my runner since my just didn't want to work anymore. Lately when I pull my key out I notice that it is very warm to the touch, Is this normal? Is this a cause for concern? I don't have any accesories running other then the standard ones, and I wired it all with 12 gauge.

No thats not normal.. Sounds like you have some connections that are corroded or otherwise not making good contact.. Check all the connections to be sure they are not loose or corroded.. clean any that are corroded and fill them with dielectric grease..
