JCC 09-20-2002, 10:01 AM I'm new and this is my first post/question. Have any of you installed bigger meats and fixed the speedo? I have a 2001 off road Ram with 4.10 gears and 33/12.50/17 Pro Comp m/t's. I don't think the speedo is off much but the tranny does not shift the same. I have heard about the True Speed device, but is there a cheaper fix? JCC Pavemen 09-20-2002, 11:55 AM Nope, ther eis nothing you can do other than a Tru-Speed type device. 97 was the last year of the gear driven speedo. Now it is "picked up" off the VSS on the rear diff or 4WABS module. J Dub 09-20-2002, 12:20 PM I'm jealous. I wish I had 4.10 gears. I only have 3.55's. :( Helps with the gas mileage though. I have hit 18 mpg on occasion with my 360. :) | |
