Looking to sell my Miller Syncrowave 180SD TIG welder. Looking to get $1700 for the entire setup. It is in excellent shape, and runs flawlessly. The one downfall to these machines(and other similar TIG machines from other manufacturers) is the lack of a water cooled torch. An air cooled torch gets very hot rather quickly and makes it near impossible to weld with. I converted this machine to a water cooled, 300amp WeldCraft torch setup. Theres a reservoir(approximately 3.5 gallons), mounted to the top of the machine, along with a motor and a carbonator pump(same exact setup used in name brand TIG torch coolers). Miller makes an adapter fitting to convert these machines to water cooled, with all the appropriate coolant hoses and argon hoses. This is a very nice setup, and keeps the torch cool for as long as you want. The tank is mounted using neoprene washers to protect the original Miller blue paint.
The machine when new cost $1800(this is the "runner" package with factory Miller cart), the torch was $250+, torch cover was $60, the cooler setup was another $200. I would be willing to sell with or without the water cooled torch setup. I would supply an air cooled torch if the buyer wanted to go that route.
Im entertaining all cash offers. Feel free to email me. I have more pictures available as well.
Thanks!
