I know it's not hardcore but I figured I'd get a response from more knowledgeable people in in this category. 95 4.0 YJ was running rough. Replaced the CPS and starts and runs fine...no issues in straight aways or 'gentle curves. In hard turns the engine sputters like it's not getting fuel. The tank is 3/4 full right now. I think it's a fuel pump or a clogged sock or something...a friend things its electrical somewhere. I've yanked and pulled on all the harnesses while its running with no ill effects. I just dont want to get it back on the road and wind up DOA. Any ideas....?

Replace the fuel filter. I'd start there and try to replicate the problem on the ground somehow.

Drove it tonight....ran perfect...then as I turned into the driveway it sputtered. Could it be the computer relearning after changing the cps? It almost acts like the tailshaft sensor is out of line...but the speedo is working fine.
